We had a great time at Little Yangon Hostel. The staff were kind and helpful, and they even accommodated our request for an early check-in. The rooms were very comfortable, with each bed equipped with a large locker, lamp, electrical socket. The air conditioning worked well, and there was plenty of hot water in the showers, complete with soap and shampoo. The location was fantastic, just a short 2-minute walk from the Sule Pagoda and about 10 minutes from the main train station. We also enjoyed the fact that the hostel had facilities and activities for people who like karaoke and casinos.
We felt immediately at home at Little Yangon Hostel and had nothing to complain about.

During our visit over Christmas, they even organized a festive party, allowing us to connect with them on a more personal level. the beds were comfortable and provided privacy even in the dormitory rooms. the common area had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Conveniently located, although the street may not appear as such in the dark, the hostel was right where we wanted to be. Each bed had curtains, ensuring privacy, and most dorm rooms even had balconies. The availability of toilets and showers was also plentiful. Cons: Can't fault anything about it! 😊.

The self-service breakfast with different options each day was a pleasant surprise. The staff's friendliness extended to my kids, who were well taken care of and even offered the use of the bathroom and towels, free of charge. I highly recommend this place for an unforgettable experience!

This hostel is seriously mind-blowing! The staff is super friendly and speaks fluent English. The rooms are clean and the beds are so comfortable, with shelves to lock your stuff and curtains for privacy. The showers and toilets are in perfect condition, meeting Western standards. The location is perfect, with lots of restaurants, shops, and ATMs nearby. You can even walk to the railway station! The price is absolutely fair, especially because breakfast is included - eggs, toast, coffee, and more. Seriously, if you're on a low/mid budget and want Western standards, this place is jaw-dropping!

The breakfast buffet at the hostel was simple but fresh, with a variety of options like rice, noodles, toast, juice, and sliced tomato and cucumber. It was a great way to start the day. The hostel's location was also very convenient, being just a short walk away from Sule Pagoda and the airport bus drop-off. I enjoyed exploring the neighborhood, which had plenty of eateries and restaurants nearby.
The shared bathrooms, which varied in quality depending on the floor where your room was located. The bathrooms on the second and third floors were fine, but the ones on the first floor seemed a bit rough.

One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary English breakfast. It was like waking up to a delicious feast fit for a king! From the fluffy pancakes to the crispy bacon, every bite was a heavenly delight. The breakfast spread was so impressive, I couldn't resist going back for seconds.
Bathroom ventilation issue.

Best Location: the hostel is conveniently located near popular attractions and transportation hubs, making it easy to explore the city.
Limited Bathroom Facilities: the hostel's bathrooms were not well-maintained, with mold on the walls and toilets that frequently didn't flush. It was quite disappointing to experience such unclean conditions.
